Our Mission

The DBA teamsí mission is to provide friendly, innovative and quality database services and solutions to the Enterprise and all City departments in a timely manner.


Our Vision

To be the primary provider of database services to all City departments by 2010.


Our Goals

        Provide enterprise-wide database support to ensure a high level of reliability, recoverability, and responsiveness of all databases.

        Provide cost-effective, experienced database consulting services to city departments.

        Administer database site license agreements to maintain compliance with the agreements, obtain the best pricing and provide cost savings for the city.

        Perform on-going database monitoring and tuning to ensure optimal performance and availability of all databases.

        Provide knowledgeable database support to application development projects.

        Establish citywide database product standards, and ensure their periodic review and updating.
